Our Alumni Spotlight is all about getting to know the people behind the recovery stories. Each alumni member shares ten fun, totally random facts to remind us that we are so much more than our eating disorder histories. It’s a great way for new alumni to find connections, spot shared interests, and feel a little more at home in the community.

Ursula W.
One of the first things you’ll notice about Ursula is her energy. She has this infectious positive sunshine energy that just makes you want to spend more time with her. Ursula is wise, funny, patient, honest, and recovery focused. She has a mega-watt smile that you can’t help but smile back in return.
I am lucky to have had her agree to be the first guest for our Waves of Recovery video series. Her story, journey, and how she lives her life with such passion helps show that living in recovery IS POSSIBLE! I can’t wait to work on more projects together (and have more ! ~Julia
